PROJECT 2: NARRATIVE PENDANT

Anne Elise Robbins

Appending Vines

8.5”x4”x1/4”

Copper, Brass

Chasing & Repousse, Etching, Piercing

There was an old barn on my grandmother’s farm that was off limits to play in. In addition to being unstable, the barn was covered in poison ivy vines. When my Grandmother fell ill, the barn was sold and rather then choosing to acknowledge the barn was torn down, I would prefer to think of it in my mind being taken over by the vines, forming a protective poisonous barrier while concealing it at the same time.
